Our Sorrel Jelly (Great Taste Winner 2024)is made using flor de Jamaica (known also as wild hibiscus in the West Indies) which is steeped in freshly boiled water with cinnamon sticks, cloves and dried bayleaf. The water turns a deep burgundy colour. In the Caribbean this is usually enjoyed sweetened and chilled especially around Christmas time but it can be consumed throughout the year. Sorrel Jelly is a perfect reminder of the Caribbean. It is both sweet and tangy, with a kiss of cinnamon. Wonderful on toast, crumpets, crackers….anything you usually put jam on, you can use this jelly instead!

West Indies Pantry Sorrel Jelly (200g) contains:

  • Organic Sorrel Juice  (no sugar added, diluted)
  • Cane jam sugar (with pectin)
  • Spices (cinnamon, clove and bayleaf)
  • Organic Orange juice
  • Organic lemon juice

Our Passion Fruit Jelly is made using organic passion fruits of the edulis variety from Spain. This jelly is sweet and tart like the fruit! yum!

West Indies Pantry Passion Fruit Jelly (200g) contains:

  • Organic Passion fruit juice (no sugar added, diluted)
  • Cane Jam Sugar (with pectin)
  • Apple pectin
  • Organic Orange juice
  • Organic Lemon juice
